Parents’ corner · Brussels / Evere
You want a thoughtful environment for your child, not a promise of confidence and a future champion. Start with the actual class: age, permitted contact, temperament, coaching and whether your child wants to return.
A lively child and a cautious observer may need different introductions. Choose a group your child can join without fear or boredom, at a pace your family can sustain.

The first trial
01 · Welcome
The coach speaks to the child, explains what will happen and checks their understanding.
02 · Rules
Contact and stopping rules are explained, then enforced throughout the class.
03 · Group
Beginners can make mistakes without humiliation. More experienced pupils adapt their intensity.
04 · Feedback
Afterwards, ask what your child learned, how they felt and whether they want to return.
Budget and local support
Evere's municipality lists a sports grant for Evere residents under 18 who join a club (official page in French). Check the current season's conditions and form. The municipality decides whether an application is accepted, not the club.
Before paying a membership fee, ask the club which supporting forms it can complete. Living near Evere does not establish eligibility; residents of other municipalities should contact their own local authority. Do not send tax or household documents through our contact assistant.

Your first trial class is free. Come and meet the coach, observe the session and let your child form an opinion.
The link opens our contact assistant, not a live booking calendar. Tell the club which class interests you and confirm the time before travelling. A click is not a confirmed booking.
